Description: The Office of State Planning Coordination began collecting development application data in 2008 from each of the 3 counties (New Castle, Kent, and Sussex) and all the municipalities to show trends in development activity throughout the state. This dataset provides point locations for development applications from 2008 to present. Residential and non-residential development applications issued in municipal and county jurisdictions in Delaware from 2008 to present. Development Application data indicate where actual land development activity is occurring. Because permit information is actual, rather than speculative, it is a better indicator of actual market demand and development trends.
