Description: The Office of State Planning Coordination began collecting building permit data in 2008 from each of the 3 counties (New Castle, Kent, and Sussex) and all the municipalities to show trends in development activity throughout the state. This dataset provides point locations for building permits from 2008 to present.Residential and non-residential building permits issued in municipal and county jurisdictions in Delaware from 2008 to present. Building permit data indicate where actual land development activity is occurring. Because permit information is actual, rather than speculative, it is a better indicator of actual market demand and development trends.
